Guitar Chicago is a musical instruction program conveniently located on Michigan Avenue across from Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. The acclaimed lesson program in Chicago has now expanded to major cities worldwide to include one-on-one private instruction via interactive webcam. Instruction includes: theory, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, song learning, and songwriting for all skill levels.
Lessons are taught in a low-stress format, typically meeting once a week for a half-hour or full-hour lesson, and follow a program developed by James based on his experiences as an instructor and his career as a touring and recording professional. A graduate of Hope College in Psychology and Music, James Lenger has been teaching guitar and bass professionally for 15 years and has given over 40,000 lessons. |

Troy Fannin has been teaching professionally for 7 years. Since receiving his BFA in Music he has performed on and been the executive producer of numerous recordings. Troy has toured much of the US and most recently performed in Kenya, Africa and Sydney, Australia. He instructs the guitar and bass guitar. |

Jason Steele has been playing guitar for nearly 20 years and teaching for over 10. In 2007, Jason released his debut CD, Some Wonderful Moment, resulting in a great deal of positive attention in the jazz world, as evidenced by recent reviews including: Downbeat, Jazz Times, Jazz Review, and All About Jazz.
