Guitar London is a school that is located in Chicago and utilizes the successful program that is taught there via webcam. The webcam lessons are all one-on-one and totally interactive! Material can be sent immediately from the instructor to the student, so all you need is a computer, a webcam, and a microphone to start! Lessons are easy to sign up for; you can try them for a month or you can take them for years.
The approach that is taught here is currently being used as the foundation for a book that is coming out next year. The goal is to provide students of all ages with an education about the instrument and music in general, while offering a purpose for this theory through learning songs and writing them. Ear training and lead guitar are also utilized in this program, so eventually a student can begin playing songs that they hear just by ear! Lessons are given one-on-one (unless you would like to take them with a friend, family member, colleague, etc., that can be done also).
Often, lessons can also be rescheduled in case there is a problem with your schedule. Guitar London is set up as an oasis to get away from a busy work day, so you can pursue the goal of playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or bass guitar. There is no registration fee and you can start within one week! Lessons are available from 14:00-2:00 GMT (8:00am-8:00pm CST).
